About Us

We are Martha and Philip Smaruj, currently living in Namibia and traveling through Africa for the past fourteen years.

During our journeys, we visited South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique, yet Namibia took our hearts away!

Land of vast expanse, breath-taking landscapes, where „diamond dust” sparkles in the sun…

We are forever touched by the thrill of Etosha’s beauty, where wild animals roam their territories in perfect balance of nature.
We spend the night humbled by the sounds of the lions, hyenas and elephants gathering at the waterholes.

Atlantic coast always exhilarates us with its vast expanse, wind-swept majestic dunes rolling down to the ocean, shipwrecks strewn on the beaches of the Skeleton Coast; crystals in the rock formations, dolphins and seals playing in the waves, and unspeakable beauty, tranquility and unearthly calm of the Namib Desert.

While fishing for tiger fish, in the rapidly flowing Okavango, we witnessed with thrill daily bathing routines of the local villagers on the other side of the river. At night, sound and rhythm of the drums echoed through the African bush, while we sat exhilarated in front of our thatched-roof bungalow, sipping the red wine by the warm glowing fire.

Experience of the unspoiled nature, sense of the wild, magnificent deserts and majestic landscapes, filled us with thrill and amazement, turning our daily lives into continuous African safari!

While traveling across Namibia from north to south, east to west we grew to love and appreciate this stunning, sun-filled land and its unique charm.

Music of the savannah, star-filled sky, songs of the rolling dunes, search for an adventure, infused our hearts with passion and amazement.
